Reserve Bank of New Zealand Cuts Interest Rate to 4.75%

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand lowered its main interest rate by 50 basis points to 4.75%, marking the second rate cut since August, when it was reduced by 25 basis points. This decision follows the economic contraction observed in the second quarter, with predictions of an even larger rate cut expected in the coming months.
