The Bank of Japan has maintained its key interest rate at 0.25% following a two-day Policy Board meeting, marking a pause since the rate increase in July. During that previous meeting, the central bank expressed concerns about rising prices due to the yen’s weakness. But, since then, the yen has strengthened against the dollar.
